General meeting/check in. We’ll be hearing what you’re most concerned about and updating you on what we know about the fight for academic freedom and shared governance at Pitt and nationally.

Thursday October 22, 5pm. Panel: “Post-DEI and its Histories”

Barco Law School, room 107.

This panel discussion will contextualize the links between critical race theory, assaults on academic freedom, and the war on antiracist measures. Featuring Drs. Aja Y. Martinez and Robert O. Smith, authors of The Origins of Critical Race Theory.
